Food poisoning can happen if bacteria from uncooked meat contaminate different foods. Check your fridge, ensure raw food – corresponding to uncooked meat, poultry and seafood – is chilled, lined and kept nicely away from cooked food. Store uncooked meat on the bottom shelf of the fridge so juices can’t drip on other food. When preparing meals use completely different chopping boards for uncooked and cooked food – wash them well between uses. This can typically be prevented just by cooking the Trout Soup before the Maki Roll.
